Group Lessons at Piedmont Piano
The classes are a well-rounded exploration of music. We will mainly learn by osmosis- meaning the children might not know we are "learning" because we will be busy experiencing. We approach many general musical aspects including; keyboard (everyone has their own), singing, listening, movement, rhythm and introduction to some theory (basic and simple). The keyboard is the main theme and learning tool in the class, however, I offer a mixed curriculum with other elements. I am a big fan of creativity and together we will write a song, using what we are learning in class. I encourage self-expression, and give the opportunity for the children to share a recording of their favorite music, bring in an instrument or sing a song for us. The class is a fun musical experience, that I truly believe in and love teaching. I hope you will find great value in it as well.
The 45-minute classes are once a week, run for a total of 8 weeks, and the cost is $200 for the entire course. The first class is a trail class, and you need only pay for that day; I allow the opportunity to experience a class before committing to the course. If you do want to join, you would pay the remainder the following week.
I am aware of schedules changing, planned and unplanned circumstances that arise. If you know well in advance there is a date you cannot make, please let me know and it would be my pleasure to not charge you.
